Refund & Cancellation Policy

1) Overview
BioVisuals is a web-delivered SaaS for scientific illustration and visualization. Plans grant instant access to digital features (icons, layouts, exports, collaboration tools, etc.).
2) Free Trial
If your plan includes a free trial, you can cancel any time during the trial from your dashboard and no charges will apply.
3) Cancellations
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account dashboard. Access remains active until the end of the current billing period unless you request an immediate cancellation (see prorated refunds below).
4) Prorated Refunds (Mid-Cycle)
We provide prorated refunds for unused time if you cancel in the middle of a billing cycle or request an immediate cancellation. The prorated amount is calculated as:
Refund = (Unused Days ÷ Total Days in Billing Period) × Amount Paid for the Period
- Monthly plans: Refunded for the unused portion of the month.
- Annual plans: Refunded for the unused portion of the year, calculated from the cancellation date to the original renewal date.
- Upgrades/Downgrades: We prorate the difference based on the time remaining in your current cycle.
Examples
- You paid $30 for a monthly plan (30 days) and cancel on day 10 → refund ≈ (20/30) × $30 = $20.
- You paid $300 for an annual plan (365 days) and cancel after 100 days → refund ≈ (265/365) × $300.
5) Processing Time
- Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 working days. Your bank/card network or PayPal may need additional time to post the credit.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
6) Failed/Duplicate Charges
Any failed or duplicate charges detected by our systems are automatically reversed. Depending on your bank or card network, credits may take 5–7 working days to appear.
7) Exceptions & Notes
- Misuse, policy violations, or fraudulent activity may void eligibility.
- Certain promotional or bundled offers may carry specific terms; where stated, those terms prevail.
- Tax, cross-border, or payment-gateway fees (if any) are refunded subject to issuer rules.
- Institutional/enterprise contracts may include custom refund terms as agreed in writing.
8) How to Request a Refund
Email support@biovisuals.in from your registered address with your invoice/transaction ID and a brief reason. Our support team aims to respond within 24–48 hours.
